For most of my life I have been a loner and observer of people and nature. This brought me to explore the ideas and practices of the earth religions. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to travel to many of the sacred places and ruins in North America and Europe. The personal truths I have found I express through the art and writings I have posted here. I hope you enjoy them, and I thank you for visiting my page!
Spiritual Energy
Imagination helps us see beyond what is known… It helps us create… Just as inventions of earthly need come through this so the path to spiritual expansion can also be revealed
The understanding that both the physical and spiritual planes Are within our capabilities of understanding and personal manifestations Lends us to recognize how important we all are in the scheme of things
By taking the time to explore our many aspects of being We gain a better insight of how we and all things are connected
When the energy of life enters a vessel It becomes animated and grows… When this same energy leaves The vessel is empty and still… A process we call life and death
As our bodies return to the separate elements from which they came… So does the energy of life return to the source of its being… Some call this “God” I like the terms “Spirit Energy” or “Universal Energy”
What ever term we choose, The fact that it exists within and around us Is undeniable… A fact worth exploring while we are here.
The sweat of many stains these stones… Passions echo within these walls… Finger prints still visible in the mortar Of those whose names are lost to time
Thousands have climbed these narrow steps To bravely kiss the Blarney Stone… A ritual that’s still performed To achieve the eloquence of speech
But the ancient words are left unheard Their secrets hang in veiled thought That rise as mist across this land In symbols of the Celtic heart
Native Star
He shall cause echoes in this sacred land That will rise in colors and imbed themselves in the stone.
He shall cause thought to hang Above each head in a mystic mist That will settle soft upon his children As the prophesy is fulfilled.
He is brother to the changing rock That wind and rain does carve… That melts into the cracks of earth And raises the land beneath their feet.
His tears upon the grazing grass Will bring the feast for the buffalos return.
His pounding heart… the drum they’ll hear To stir their blood So they will rise in dance of old Bringing honor to the spirits there.
Wolf Spirit
Wolf spirit howls… And the flute of man answers… "Become me” taunts wolf spirit And man falls on all fours
“Follow me” beckons wolf spirit… And man begins to run…
“See through my eyes… Feel my blood… Taste my scents” offers wolf spirit And man heeds…
