I have been photographing for well over 20 years. My subject matter has ranged from sports to nature and even commercial content. Additionally, I have photographed over 100 weddings, plus model portfolios.
In 2007, I was introduced to digital photography. Having used Nikon equipment from day one, I was able to purchase a used D70s and 1 lens. Nikon used the same mount, so most of my film lenses worked well with the D70s.
As I transitioned to digital, I began to shoot primarily flowers, butterflies and sports. Recently, I have delved into architectural content, as well.
My passion for nature has certainly evolved, as my original lure into photography was sports and athletic endeavors. In fact, when I was a 13 year old, I took an interest inventory and scored in the second percentile for nature. That means, 98% of folks taking the test were more interested in natural subjects than I, yet, 60%-70% of all of my work is nature, today!
I hope that you enjoy my art as much as I enjoyed taking the photographs. These shots are intended to impart a bit of “the moment” I experienced when snapping the shutter.
