I am a 10-year-old little kid, cleverly disguised as a “woman of a certain age.” Ordinary, garden-variety, (very) happily married photography / digital art fanatic. Although my primary goal will always be to capture that perfect image straight out of the camera, I also enjoy tinkering around in Photoshop and other image editing programs.
The images in my portfolio were photographed with either a Nikon D300, a Nikon D40x or an Olympus C5000 Zoom, with a variety of lenses and filters. I use a tripod only when absolutely necessary. Post processing is done primarily in Photoshop CS4, Adobe RAW, Corel Paint 11, and Capture NX2. HDR work is done in Photomatix Pro. I use the Wacom Intuos 4 tablet and stylus constantly.
Can’t seem to make up my mind what I like to photograph best, so just about anything that’s colorful and can’t get away from me gets snapped. Hope I never learn it all and hope I never outgrow the sheer joy of it!
