My love for nature stems back many years ago when I was introduced to Yosemite by my Folks in the mid 40’s on a camping trip. Ever since then, my love for the beauty of nature has continually grown. My first job out of high school was in Yosemite in 1951. Except for a stint in the U.S. Coast Guard, I have lived and worked in such magnificent and scenic parks as Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, Grand Canyon, North Cascades and now in Olympic. I also lived and worked in Western Nevada including picturesque Lake Tahoe. These beautiful areas inspired me to capture, first on film, then digital cameras the beauty of Nature. While living in Yosemite, my neighbors, Ansel and Virginia Adams, sponsored me into the Sierra Club, an honor I will never forget.

I am still active and work seasonally in Olympic National Park as an Entrance Station Ranger
