We are now accepting artists' and writers' requests to be included in our online gallery, even if they are not currently showing work with us in our physical gallery.
*NOTE: To submit images, art or writing for our new first edition Trillium Gallery Chapbook and Calendar, you MUST be a member of Trillium Gallery. See Details Below.
Each artist/photographer will be given their own page, which includes the artist’s Artist Statement and a sampling of their work.
We offer high quality printing and framing as well as shipping to your customers at very fair prices. We do not treat artists as numbers and are always available to answer questions via phone and or email, as your needs require. ************************************************************************************************************** ****Potential Web Artists, Photographers and Writers Please Read The Following Important Details, if you are considering showing your work with us on the web. It contains important facts and will answer most of your questions****
Virtual Gallery on the Trillium Gallery Website
1> After we review some of your work to make certain we are all a good fit for each other, we will ask you to send us up to 15 files, none larger than 2mgs.
2> Make sure that each Subject Title of your email states something like: 'One of Four' and so forth. This makes mistakes fewer and it has proven to be merciful to me :-)
3> Please name each file with the title you wish to show on your page.
4> If a purchase is made of one of your images, we would ask you to resend us the file in its large/best resolution size, so that when we print for your customer we are all assured that your work is the best it can be. All of our equipment is state of the art Epson, and we also offer a wide variety of papers to print your work, including canvas. We also ship.We are not hoping to simply grind out work. We are not mass producing or mass marketing. We are offering custom work.... right down to personally cutting mats. We are thinking of ourselves as more your marketing 'agent' than anything else, and CARE that your work arrives where it is intended, safely… and looking its best. We do not rush out orders. We look at every single file and every single print to make Sure it looks like your file.
It's important to us as artists ourselves to do that.
5> If/when a sale is made of your work, you are contacted and given the name and contact information of the person for your records. But we do the rest.
6> Please understand that if a person who is ordering your work comes from a country other than The United States, additional costs to the customer will be incurred to them for shipping.
7> NO external links to your work will be permitted. Interest in your work by any potential customers/buyers will be sent to Trillium via the website contact form. We will then contact you. We Encourage you to PROMOTE your personal page via a blog or website, or however you like to do it. But it is Important that we treat each other as partners and promote together.
8> Any person being caught selling their work via Trillium Gallery On-Line by circumventing our online contact form and not notifying us of that fact, will be deemed to be breaking the On-Line agreement, and will be banished from the On-Line Gallery without notice and flogged with old ink cartridges. That’s pretty messy.
9> The top selling artist for each month, (as calculated beginning January 1st 2011 to February 1st 2011) with Trillium Gallery On-Line, will receive either one free print 8.5x11 or a Trillium Gallery Tee Shirt
10> ALL artists will be asked to sign an agreement. Even if you have signed one for showing work in Trillium Gallery in Glenford, this will still be necessary. I know, it’s a drag, but it’s important for all of us.
11> Any frames, mats or other than standard sizes or colors listed below (such as double matting, multiple images within frames, or something like red mats ;-) ) will incur further charges. We aren’t looking to scalp anyone - but we must cover costs, as I’m sure you understand.
12> If you have a look at the webpage of different artists, you will be able to judge how you might want to price your work. It is entirely up to you. The only cost that should be added to your work is what it costs us to frame, print and so forth. Shipping is charged directly to customers.
Please know that we mustadd tax to sales.
: If Prices, Below, Change-- We Will Immediately notify you. Please make sure you understand that these prices will be deducted from your sale.
