Simon was born in Appleton near Warrington and Manchester, UK, and after the age of 7 years,  grew up in the picturesque town of Barnstaple, North Devon, this is where he first discovered and developed his passion for Art.   Through his studies he obtained an O.N.D. in Art and Design, at North Devon College and went on to Ipswich, to successfully achieve an H.N.D. in Graphic Design and Illustration at Suffolk College of Higher and Further Education.   In his twenties, Simon worked for a major graphic design company in London, and then went on to teach the principles of graphic design at Southampton Technical College.   In 1994, Simon began oil painting full time.  This was his main passion, until 2004, when he first discovered the world of digital art through Adobe Photoshop.   Since then, he has worked for himself producing artworks to be printed onto art papers and canvas, several of which have been exhibited by art galleries and stores.
