About a week ago, Stanza and I were visiting the new Misty River Art Gallery in Hazelton, a historic town about 45 minutes away.  Rene, the gallery co-ordinator, told us with a worried look, "The exhibitor who was supposed to start on August 15th backed out."  So, long-story-short, we got ourselves into a busy week of organizing a bunch of our paintings and photos in order to grab an opportunity in a new gallery.  The gallery is literally on the edge of the Skeena River in a replica riverboat in memory of the riverboat traffic that used to service the town. Newly renovated, the gallery's ground floor is a store for selling artwork, and the upstairs is completely dedicated to viewing.  The scenic nature of the location is quite stunning with the river on one side and Mount Roche de Boule behind the town on the other side.  The exhibition's opening night is August 19.  It will be a continuation of Stanza's international exposure as a specialist in pastels, and of my photography, but it is the first-ever display of my oil paintings.

Best Wishes to Ted and Stanza on their Misty River Exhibition!
