Torfinn Johannessen
My name is Torfinn Johannessen, 53 years young, happily married for 30 years, and with three children. Born and raised in Mo i Rana, Norway. Moved to Sweden with my family in 1989 where I was working as a reinforcement agent in the concrete industry until 1992.
After this I took a post-secondary education and began working as a computer technician at Sykes Enterprises Inc. in Sveg, Sweden. There I worked a few years before we moved to Tarnaby in Swedish Lapland in 2002.
2007 we were back in Strömsund where we started. My photo interest I have had for many years but it really took off when I bought my first digital SLR camera. Mostly I shoot landscapes and wildlife images. I like to experiment with light and color which I think is clear from my pictures.
It´s really an honour to be a part of all the wonderful people who currently represent a small crowd of artists at Trillium Gallery.
