Photography is a big part of my life. Art is my passion.

I currently live on Northport Bay, in Asharoken, New York. I am truly inspired by the the weather, and the ever changing colors that the coast provides. I have many opportunities for photographing the beauty of nature.

I have always been drawn to the beauty of the water, whether it's the sandy beaches of the ocean or the rocky coast line of Northport. Many of my images were taken just steps from my home,  and many were shot on Fire Island.  When I am near the water,  the wildlife, the weather, both sun and rain, and the power of the water are all experienced first hand, and I can't help but to feel in the middle of it all.  I have been given one of the most wonderful gifts the world has to offer and I hope that my images come close to portraying the absolute beauty of this part of the world.

I use a Nikon D70 for shooting and CS 5 for editing.
I add textures to enhance my images and to give them depth when needed, and I love being able to turn snapshots into works of art.
