Dreams and passion are the fuel and motivation for my photography. My dream in life is to share the beauty I see through my camera, and hope that the beauty you see brings joy to your life. I have dabbled in photography since the age of 7 and have always learned what I like and don’t like through observation. From my childhood memories my grandpa loved to take photos of us as we were growing up. So at a young age I understood the power of photography and its ability to invoke emotion. Sometimes it’s happiness, sometimes it’s sorrow, but what I really hope to do with my photographs is have people feel a sense of connection to my work.

I work in the horticulture field by trade and have now for 25 years. Through all the college classes I’ve taken, I see flowers a little different than other people. To me they’re more beautiful than any word could describe, but like the saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words”. There is something about being up close and personal with a flower that brings a smile to my face and I hope you enjoy what I have chosen to share with you. Flower macros are my favorite, but I really enjoy any subject I see while hiking in parks throughout the area in which I live. Thank you very much for stopping by to check out my work.
