    Winter Art 'Winners', and Runners-Up

Thank you to everyone who sent us their contest entries, and allowed us to view their winter-related art for consideration in our contest.

Your enthusiasm continues to make us proud, and reaffirms our commitment to providing you with a place to share your art.
Being involved with Trillium Gallery has its reciprocal rewards and we thank you.

    Forty- two submissions were considered.

The field was narrowed to eleven, and then the finalists.  A local artist, Amanda Jordan, and photographer Anthony Scano voted and looked carefully at all the submitted entries. Photography was judged on composition, subject matter, execution, and  lack of 'noise' and 'artifacts'.
Art was judged by composition, originality, technique,  and as Amanda stated: 'A general feel of 'Wow', I love that'
Both judges are fully  engaged in their chosen art forms, and have earned many accolades, awards, and are in high demand.  We feel honored to have had their participation. Thank you, Anthony and Amanda!

The judges did not know the name(s) of any entrant.
They were simply asked to examine the entries and give each their fair consideration.
All artists who made it this far, can be quite proud. The judges took this task of decision quite seriously.
Those artists who had more than one entry make it this far, ought to feel truly honored and encouraged.

The eleven were, left to right, NOT Necessarily in highest vote order:

    Frank Olsen (4)
    Lois Bryan (2)
    Ted Widen (3)
    Stanza Widen (1)
    Allison Ashton (1)
